Tilda’s Birthday

14 Jul

I have been thinking about Tilda’s birthday a lot. It will be the first without her and I had been struggling to think of how I wanted to mark the day. A moment of inspiration in the shower has led to our latest fundraising effort.

To honour our fearless daughter, on the 10th September this year, Simon and I will be undertaking our first ever skydive. We are jumping to raise money for two organisations that hold special places in our hearts. I will be raising money for Make A Wish Australia, who gave Tilda the most amazing Wish Day ever, a day that we will always remember. Simon will be raising money for the incredibly special Glenallen school who filled Tilda’s last few years with such love and support.

If you wish to donate to either of these wonderful places, please visit our everyday hero pages:

To donate to Make A Wish, visit –https://give.everydayhero.com/au/laura-36

To donate to Glenallen School, visit https://give.everydayhero.com/au/simon-21

We will of course, update with photos and videos after the event!

The support we have received over the last few years from friends, family and even strangers has been overwhelming and beyond anything I could have imagined. We want to thank you so much for this and for the continuing support that we have felt since Tilda’s death. We miss her everyday.

That’s great, Laura. Our babies were exactly 2 weeks apart. I guess they will be partying together in Heaven. xo
