There is some hope in my heart this morning. Yesterday afternoon, things were a bit hectic. Tilda had a lot of agitation and some vomiting. She settled down later in the evening after medication and had quite a good night. Some coughing in the early hours which is good, we need her to cough to get things moving. Her breathing is quite settled at the moment albeit a little shallow. She is currently sleeping peacefully.

A huge thank you to all our amazing friends and family for the visits, the food, the love and the support. You are all wonderful.

So grateful to have your updates Laura. You and Simon must be exhausted. Thinking of you all constantly. Tilda looks so beautiful, and thank goodness you have Bob and Janet and an easy going Maggie.

Laura I have missed some of your blogs and didn’t realise Tilda was back in hospital. I’m so sorry to hear how rough it has been for her. Your strength shines through and I am very inspired by your courage. Even though I read all the time about the really hard reality of the progression of batten disease, and Kiaana will no doubt go through it herself, I just can’t imagine what it must be like inside your soul, or in Tildas. I wish you love to the moon and back and hope those previous Tilda smiles keep breaking through forever, however long or short that is xxx
