It is such a cliche but honestly, how fast has this year gone? I cannot believe that we already in November and it is nearly time to start thinking about Christmas. Yeeks!
November has started well, we have a new haircut and a new helmet!
The hair was just getting too difficult to manage and with all the roly poly’s and jumping she does, it was time for something easier. And the helmet was one I found online through a company called Thudguard. I particularly like the little ears on the top and think she looks very sweet 🙂
No real news to report. Which is always a positive. Tilda’s eating has improved a bit since last I wrote. The school are very kindly doing a regular weigh in with her and she has put on a whole 200 grams! Hopefully we can push this a bit higher. She is still really enjoying school and we are eternally grateful for their amazing support. She is looking forward to her cousin Charlie’s birthday party on Sunday and of course we are now in countdown mode to Wish Day! Invites have been printed and should be arriving in letterboxes any day now!

LOVE her new do! You may have missed your calling darl 🙂 Love the new helmet too. Can’t wait to see her.
Love you x
So nice to meet you here, and really looking forward to meeting you in person!! Tilda looks like such a fun, cheeky little girl!!! ❤
Cheers,

Thought of you the other night Laura when I was making 4 year old Lexi’s swimming pool birthday cake. My ‘order’ was for the one with the rolled colouring icing round the pool (from a later book) and I am delighted for you and Tilda that yours was at least 100 times better! After years of making such cakes this was absolutely the worst – the icing sagged, the cake felt apart and it took all my skill and a hell of a lot of smarties to make it presentable (for 4 year olds!).
Tilda’s school sounds fantastic!
Ooh Tilda’s going to have fun on Sunday! I believe Dizzy the Dragon is making an appearance too (not quite as exciting as Buzz Lightyear, but still!) and don’t forget your disco clothes!
see you tonight

I always love to hear any news from you and have a little chuckle or a tear when I read the comments.
All the best.

Hi Laura,
Its your cousin Anne here replying far too long after Janet sent me your link to teamtilda. I have read all your blogs and often felt lost for words but know that is no excuse for not contacting you. While I have seen very little of you over the years I have often caught up with your news. I remember Mum being absolutely captivated with Tilda when Janet took her over for a visit one day and when I was reading your stories of taking her to Healesville I remembered back to the freezing cold day when you were about 8 and over from Hong Kong for a holiday and we all went to the Zoo – it seems like yesterday but how much has happened since then
All I really want to say is that you are very much in my thoughts and I hope you and Janet know that if there is anything I can do at any time just let me know. I have never met Tilda but by reading your blogs I am beginning to understand what a very special little girl she is and what a wonderful mum you are
Love always Anne
Love the new haircut, such a gorgeous Tilda. I hope she is still loving her new shoes. XXX
Absolutely love the new ‘do’ and she looks absolutely delicious in that new helmet…too cool for school! xo
